Welcome to Pineberry Lodge, where family and relaxation come together in the heart of Colorado’s stunning Peak to Peak Highway (Hwy 119).

Nestled near Blackhawk, our lodge has been a beloved retreat for crafters, quilters, scrapbookers, and anyone looking for a peaceful escape since 2012.

We’re Kristy and Tanner—a mom-and-son team from Golden, Colorado, dedicated to creating a space where you and your friends can laugh, connect, and make lasting memories.

Since 2012, my husband, Mark, and I have poured our hearts into running Pineberry Lodge. It has been an incredible joy to host guests, but as time goes on, the upkeep—snow removal, cleaning, and general maintenance—has become more challenging. Thankfully, help is on the horizon!

Starting in 2025, my oldest son, Tanner, is joining the Pineberry team. A Colorado School of Mines graduate, Tanner spent the past few years working and traveling before returning to his Colorado roots. Together, we’re excited to continue providing the beautiful and welcoming retreat you’ve come to love.

Tanner will be stepping into many of the day-to-day operations throughout the year, though most of his work will happen behind the scenes. You might receive an email from him or spot him with his handyman hat on during your stay.

At Pineberry Lodge, our priority remains the same as it was in the beginning:

to create a sanctuary for you to relax, recharge, and share laughter with friends.
